The blind man in picture wanted to go to Tannery road from Pottery road. It takes about 20 minutes for me to cross the road, avoid drainage etc. I was in car, stuck in traffic. I thought 20 minutes outside is better than inside. But imagine lakhs of old, people with difficulty using footpaths, roads, public transport in Bangalore. I remember buying a car because my mother with her Parkinson’s couldn’t compete with other people to get into BMTC. All those old things came back to me….
