@thej I want it to work that way, to be honest. OTP’s purpose is to prevent misuse due to theft of the card or credentials.
@thej The security system of Android doesn’t allow you to realistically stop apps from wanting to read your SMSes anyway.
@thej If an app wants to read your SMSes, your only choice is to accept that, or uninstall the app. Everyone will chose to accept it.
@thej I’d rather trust the service to not misuse the ability to read OTPs. Just like how credit cards work elsewhere in the world.
